Only God possesses immortality in the truest sense (1 Timothy 6:16). He has life in Himself, and His being is eternal without beginning or end. Angels, on the other hand, do not have that kind of life. They live forever, but only because God chose to create them and continues to uphold their existence. They cannot die (Luke 20:36), yet their immortality is borrowed and not self-existent.
So yes, I would say that angels are immortal in the sense that they do not experience death. But unlike God, they are not immortal by nature since their every moment of existence rests in His sustaining power.
1 Timothy 6:16 says, "Who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen."
