I watched a talk on tv by a Messianic Jewish man, Jonathan cahn, explain that Bethlehem was where the Passover lambs were bred and raised and that they are only born one time of year...In the spring...And that they were sacrificed the following year in the spring and on the same day (their one year birthday) and how this all represents Jesus...That he was born in Bethlehem, as prophesied for that reason, in the spring and was sacrificed in the spring on the Passover because He was our Passover Lamb.
