The Bible clearly tells us to stay away from all evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22). We should always do what the Bible says, no matter how hard it is. So, what does the Bible say about astrology? To begin with, the stars and planets were created simply to proclaim God's majesty and power (Psalm 19:1, Psalm 8:3). Interestingly enough, Psalm 147:4 says that God has named and numbered all the stars. Genesis 1:14 says that the stars have been given to us to mark the times and seasons. Many of the Old Testament Feasts are counted using the stars. God used a large star to show the wise men where Jesus was (Matthew 2:1-12). Stars will also be involved at the end times, during Jesus' coming. Clearly, stars are important symbols in the Bible, but what does that have to do with astrology? To define, "astrology" is the "interpretation of stars to determine the destiny of the human race." This is Biblicaly wrong. King Nebuchadnezzar's astrologers in Babylon were overthrown by Daniel (Daniel 1:20). They were completely unable to interpret the king's dream (Daniel 2:27). Astrologers will be burned as stubble in God’s judgment (Isaiah 47:13-14). Astrology is a form of "worshiping the host of heaven," which the Bible strongly and severely forbids. (Deuteronomy 18:10-14) (Deuteronomy 4:19). We are to serve God, and Him only (Exodus 20:1-6). Israel unfortunately committed this sin many times, and was always judged. To sum up, we should view the stars as part of God's awesome Creation and use them to mark times and seasons (like the fall feasts in the Old Testament), but nothing more. We must remember that the Lord is our God and guide through life.
