The Bible warns us not to get involved with these things. Astrology is an abomination.

I am a firm believer in the stars speaking to us. Wait, before you totally dismiss this! Please consider the following:

First, let's go back to be book of beginnings, Genesis.
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and lo it was so. Genesis 1:14-15.

Now, the lights were for three purposes, to divide day and night, seasons and years, (2) for signs and (3) to give light.

In their division ministry, we see they break up the monotony of life, how would we know that each new day was beginning or ending without the lights in the heavens? How would we know the changing of the seasons without the constant changing of the stars at night? Ask any farmer that looks for the new moon to plant certain crops. Summer which brings satisfying growth, and autumn with its harvest. Winter, with frost, snow, and icy wind to purify the earth for the next season. This is how the lights divide the year, day and nights into seasons and new opportunity for growth.

God also gave the lights for signs. The Hebrew word here for signs means omen, a beacon, a mark, a monument, a token, a witness, a pledge. God meant for the stars to be to man an omen. A foretelling of future events. They are proof or evidence of what God planned to do during the Dispensation of Time and on into future Eternity. Man, came out of Eternity-Past (since everything had its beginning in God), and he lives now, visibly, in a period marked as Time. At his life's end, he returns into Eternity once more. Thus God drew pictures in the sky for all He planned for man, from the first man through all of Time. The relationship of the signs of the zodiac to Bible prophecy and its fulfillment is utterly fantastic.

God's third Purpose of the luminaries in the sky is that they minister light, both naturally and spiritually, to the Earth and to its inhabitants. Psalms 19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. Speech means promise in Hebrew

We do not see stars in the daytime, but their promise is still beaming down on the Earth. Psalms 19:3-4 continues that telling of the stars speaking to every man on Earth, regardless of where he lives. As the Earth spins, their light softly shines upon every place and influences every man, Their ministering rule, their line, goes throughout the whole Earth, prophesying the Will of God to man.

The Devil twist the Truth of the Light of Prophecy from the stars into a daily prophesying of how a person should conduct himself according to his sign. This is the Devil's method of trying to guide people's lives and keep them under his influence. Just as he caused the heathen of the Biblical times to be prostrated with fear of the stars because of the evil predictions and superstitions perpetrated by the astrologers, so does Satan continue to delight in blinding us to the things which God intends for our GOOD. But, Scripture commands us to not be dismayed at the signs of Heaven. God wants us to understand the omens which He has placed in the sky.

This is an excerpt from the book "The Stars Speak" author B R Hicks available from Amazon.

I have discovered such beautiful Truths from GOD'S WORD in this Book that are undeniable! You cannot say you believe the Word of God on one hand, and dismiss this book on the other. Jacob had 12 sons, each belonging to the luminaries that control the zodiac. The blessings that Jacob passed to each son, is the blessing that passes to each zodiac member.
For example, I am from the tribe of Asher. The blessing passed to Asher has certainly fallen on my life in ways I did not even realize. Once pointed out, I have known how to enjoy them, known the pitfalls from the enemy to beware of and led a more productive Christ-like life!

Be Blessed
Lena

Does the Bible ever say that astrology or the zodiac is inaccurate? I don't find anything to that effect. But I do believe the most important thing to remember is that we are to turn ONLY to God for advice; He wants to, and is willing to, lead us. He wants us to look to Him for guidance; never to the stars.
