Abortion as we know it today was not practiced in biblical times, and the Bible never specifically mentions the issue of abortion. It is clear from the Scriptures that an unborn baby is known by th...

The honest answer is that Scripture does not tell us. The best we can do is make an educated guess based upon the character of God. While the idea of an age of accountability is nice, it's not based on Scripture. Personally, I choose to believe that God's mercy covers those that are not mentally capable of understanding the Gospel. This would include aborted babies, very young children, and extremely mentally handicapped people.

Yes. A child in the womb murdered by the barbaric hand of godless abortionists immediately goes straight into the arms of Jesus Christ. This agrees with Christian doctrine which teaches that any human being who has not reached the condition of accountability (notice I did not say age of accountability) and passes away is received into heaven under the grace of Christ's sacrifice. Why? Because the requirement to enter into the kingdom of God is to believe and receive. Jesus Christ made this point very clear as did his apostles. Romans 10:9-10 states that if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, you will be saved.

Belief and confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior requires an individual to have the capacity to reason and understand, and then to speak and exhort the name of God. Babies, young children, and some mentally challenged individuals do not possess this ability. King David's baby boy died after being born as a judgement against David's great sin against God with Bathsheba. After the baby died, King David knew that his son went straight to heaven and stated that he knew he would see him again in the kingdom of God.

God knows all babies before He knits them together in their mother's wombs. The fact that the mother chooses to terminate the physical life of the child does not preclude God from bringing that child immediately into His kingdom for eternal life. God is faithful and just and quick to act. Our Heavenly Father consistently takes what was meant for evil and turns it into good. Blessed is our God and Father. Blessed is His Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Blessed always is the name of The Lord.

✿ It is appointed for everyone to die once and after judgement. Aborted children will NOT have judgement as they did not have a chance to live and they will NOT get resurrected at all (Heb. 9:27)

✿ However those who is responsible for the abortion will be responsible for the murder.

✿ Death is a blunder and an abortion if there is no resurrection of the body to immortality. Death is real (Heb. 9:27). It is an enemy (1Cor. 15:24-28). The vindication of God as a perfect Worker and a just Judge requires life after death. The present is too brief to receive justice and meet opportunities that come. Men merely begin a work and leave it undone. Thousands die in infancy. What incompleteness and waste of life if death ends all. Life becomes a hopeless mockery and an infinite series of abortions under these circumstances. But with immortality, all who desire life and continuation of their greatest plans, find life takes on a new meaning (1Cor. 15:19).

Psalm 139:13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

We are created in the image of God the Father inside and out. Perfect in every way from His perspective. Every child, born and unborn has been washed clean by the Blood of Christ. Our Father only sees us this way, until we deny Him and turn from Him.

Just as we are born with a sinful nature we are also born with God’s nature. “1 John 4:4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” And just as the Light overcomes the darkness, God’s Nature overcomes sinful nature until we turn from Him and embrace our sinful nature. Our sinful nature must evolve into sin. It must be cultivated by the ways of the world for it to become sin. Scripture speaks of this continually.

A child in the womb or out of the womb knows our Father. I would ask the question, “How can they not?” Mathew 11:25 At that time Jesus declared, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; 26 yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. 27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

God sees us as his “Little Children”.

Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven."
1 John 2:12 I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven for his name's sake.
1 John 3:18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk, but in deed and in truth.
1 John 4:4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.
1 John 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus declared, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children;
1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

I can only surmise this reference because a child’s Love is so perfect. We are to Love the Father as a child. Unconditional, unwavering, in good times and in bad times. How can you explain the moment a baby first bonds with his or her mother and father with such faith, trust, and complete Love. How can I say this? Because I have looked in my child’s eyes and have seen it and felt it through the stroke of their hands. Our Father knows us even more intimately than this. He sees it in our hearts. I would offer a child’s heart is pure and has not been corrupted by the world. They only know His Love. How I long to Love my Lord this deeply and purely again.

Mark 10:14 But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. 15 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it."

Though Scripture does not specifically address children dying in the womb that I found, naturally or caused, I believe our Lords references to children would indicate they have a very special place in His Heart and His Kingdom.

Babies in or out of the womb who die either go to heaven or hell. As the bible clearly teaches, only those with faith and trust in Christ (believers) will go to heaven. Those who don't trust (unbelievers) go to hell.

God granting faith to a baby, even one in the womb and causing them to believe is no greater miracle than Him granting faith to a teenager, or those in their 20s, 30s, 40s, etc.

It all comes down to who saves us. Does God do all the work in salvation, granting us faith to believe as Paul teaches or does my will play a part or my reasoning play a part in my salvation? Am I active or passive in salvation?

If we believe all babies go to heaven we deny original sin or at the least we say original sin has no bearing or effect on us. All are accountable, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, there is none righteous, no not one and the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life.

All human being are created in the image and likeness of God. This implies that every human being is meant to go back to God. This is d original plan of God. With the freewill God has given to man, man is to co-operate to this original plans willingly without constrain. One will only go to hell when he willingly refuse to go with that original plan of God. Therefore, aborted babies and all who are incapacitated to use that freewill will go back God where they were created from. The work of devil is to make man to willingly refuse God. Once, we are able to remain within God, we'll go to heaven.

To answer the question I would like to quote 1 Corinthians 7:14 "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband, otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy." (NKJV).

According to this verse the children, born or unborn, are unclean, that is, unfit for God's kingdom if they belong to unsanctified parents, and the children of sanctified parents are holy, that is, fit for God's kingdom.

So the children, born or unborn, are unclean or holy according to the parents' status.

Len's Comment: Unborn children are living souls at conception. Abortion is murder since it is deliberate. At physical death all "souls" and will end up, following judgment, in one of two places, Heaven or Hell. Since unborn children are like very young children, unable to recognize their sinful nature and the need for a Savior, are not saved as we recognize Salvation. It would appear at this point that their sinful nature, their "original sin" would pocket them in Hell. However, we also recognize that God is Love, therefore, based on God's love, mercy, and grace, I choose to believe the aforementioned children will be with us in Heaven.

Yes, the souls of aborted babies go to heaven. Even though David's little boy was NOT ABORTED, he did die in his first few days. And the matter had to do with punishment, or at the least chastisement. David said in 2 Samuel 12:23, "Now he [my baby] is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me."

David was looking forward to going to heaven and seeing his baby. He KNEW what he was talking about. Parents of aborted children can know their aborted baby went to heaven.

A corrupt tree brings forth corrupt fruit and a good tree brings forth good fruit Mattew 7:17-18 and Mattew 12:33 says : You either makes the tree good and it's fruit will be good or you make the tree corrupt and it's fruit will be corrupt : for the tree is known by 'his' fruit . Isaiah 61:3 refers to us as the trees of righteousness .

The scriptures clearly explains the subject as referenced above ,when an unbeliever conceives a child in whatever stage in her womb :that baby is of the devil (corrupt) John 8:44 but if a believer (Born Again) bears a baby in her womb ,that baby is incorruptible according to the scriptures .

The question now arises : at what stage is a person accountable to God ? That answer is revealed in Exodus 30:11-14 ,here God instructed Moses to recieve an offering from the children of Isreal to redeem thier soul by age twenty . Therefore twenty years is the age of accountability in the eyes of God .

It seems to me that the aborted would have no soul according to the Bible. Genesis states that Adam did not have until he took his first breath. Verses in James, Job (and elsewhere that I am forgetting at this moment, too tired) state that a body cannot have a soul unless it has breath. Thus a baby would not have a soul until it takes its first breath. It follows that an aborted baby would not have taken a breath, and therefore would not have a soul.

I am not including partial-birth abortion here. That baby will take a breath as soon as its head passes the cervix. It therefore does have a soul, and the abortionist has committed murder. This soul will pass to heaven as that of an innocent. (Although born with sin, has not reached the point where God says the responsibility for sins has begun.) God have mercy on the abortionist's soul. I imagine he does not understand the wrong that he has committed. I can only hope that he does before it is too late.
