What does the Bible mean when it says. "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the unrighteous, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful?"

How is a Christian to walk in the ways of God despite the fact that they are in the world? For there is pretty much confusion as to how a Christian is supposed to conduct himself to ensure they do not lose their precious relationship with God, yet it's difficult while we are in the world.
