And if I am not mistaken, Jesus' actual birthdate is September 27th? Is that correct?

I think Jesus was born in late Oct or early Nov. The shepherds were still in the fields.

The Bible does not say the date that Jesus was born. The Shepherds were told about his birth by Angels when He was born. Later the Three Kings found Jesus by following the Star. They knew the history of the Jewish people through Daniel, whom God blessed when he was in Babylon and was so smart that he taught the educated people there about the coming of the Jewish King.

The Kings found Jesus not as a baby, but He might have been about a year and a half years old. With the gifts that they gave Jesus, Mary and Joseph took Him to Egypt where He stayed until Herod died. Herod had all babies under two years old killed in Bethlehem. I know that the world now makes it a commercial period, the day that we celebrate Christmas, but it does expose Christianity to those that don't know who Jesus Christ is.

This is the time to tell all that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life and the only way to eternal life with God. If you know who Jesus Christ is, then you know the mind of the Father, whom with the Holy Spirit is Almighty God. If you don't know Him, it is not too late to escape a dark eternity.

We cannot decide what the church should celebrate or not to celebrate, for we are not the Head of the Church! Jesus is the head and we are His Body. The body does not dictate for the head!

Instructions for the church come from the Lord to the church by His Spirit in the church.

Act 1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given COMMANDMENTS unto the apostles whom he had chosen. It is obvious that some things could indoctrinate themselves into the church, becoming tradition, but that does not mean they are of our Lord or that He likes a given tradition.

Rev 2:15 "So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate".

The only thing Jesus commanded the church to remember Him by is the Partaking of the Holy Communion.
Shalom and may the light which is His Truth dawn on us mightily!!!
Thanks.

Jesus was most likely born during the feast of tabernacles in September; but if you truly want to know why the date was set as the 25th, look up truth or tradition with passion for truth and you will never look at Christmas or Easter the same way again.
