What does the Bible mean when it says to show hospitality to strangers?
Hebrews 13:2
ESV - 2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

I believe that this is in response to the cultural norm at the time that strangers were not welcomed.
