I think another source is helpful: "Adultery is the act of sexual intercourse between a married man and someone other than his wife, or sexual intercourse between a married woman and someone other than her husband. Adultery violates the bond of the marriage union. Fornication is a more general term usually referring to any kind of sexual misconduct or sexual impurity outside of the bounds of marriage." The Bible condemns both as sin. It says, "Flee fornication." And it says "You shall not commit adultery." Jesus said adultery could be committed with just a lustful stare (Matthew 5:27-28). This is man's big problem but can be overcome once you get saved and have the Holy Spirit as a powerful Resource residing within! I have found this to be true. Try it.
