Does the Greek word arsenokoitai in 1 Corinthians 6:9 really mean homosexuals or something else?

In the strong's Concordance the Greek Word,/for the translated word's number of #733 is "ARSENOKOITES" (Ar-sen-ok-oh-tace) and defines the word homosexual in question here, the answer is as follows:
A SODOMITE:--abuser of (that defile) self with mankind.
Hope this brings clarity. :)

Has anyone told homosexuals what went on in the gymnasium, even in Paul's time? It was the custom for mature men to sexually befriend male teenagers. So, Romans ch. 1.
