So Zedekiah the king swore secretly to Jeremiah, saying, "As the LORD lives, who made our very souls, I will not put you to death, nor will I give you into the hand of these men who seek your life."
but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
'And you shall do as I have done; you shall not cover your lips nor eat man's bread of sorrow.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

"Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.
"I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you.
"You have not eaten bread, nor have you drunk wine or similar drink, that you may know that I am the LORD your God.
