Psalm 106:28-31

Give Thanks to the Lord, for He Is Good

²⁸ Then they _a yoked themselves to the _a Baal of Peor,
and ate sacrifices offered to _b the dead;
²⁹ they provoked the Lord to anger with their deeds,
and a plague broke out among them.
³⁰ Then _c Phinehas stood up and intervened,
and the plague was stayed.
³¹ And that was _d counted to him as righteousness
from generation to generation forever.
