Balaam's Final Oracle

¹⁷ _s I see him, but not now;
I behold him, but not near:
_t a star shall come out of Jacob,
and _u a scepter shall rise out of Israel;
it shall _v crush the forehead ₁ of Moab
and break down all the sons of Sheth.
¹⁸ _w Edom shall be dispossessed;
_x Seir also, his enemies, shall be dispossessed.
Israel is doing valiantly.
