The River of Life
And he showed me a a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
b In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was c the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were d for the healing of the nations.
And e there shall be no more curse, f but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His g servants shall serve Him.
h They shall see His face, and i His name shall be on their foreheads.
j There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor k light of the sun, for l the Lord God gives them light. m And they shall reign forever and ever.

May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, And the tongue that speaks proud things.
They scoff and speak wickedly concerning oppression; They speak loftily.
Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips And from a deceitful tongue.
What shall be given to you, Or what shall be done to you, You false tongue?
An ungodly man digs up evil, And it is on his lips like a burning fire.
But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
"Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man."
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
They sharpen their tongues like a serpent; The poison of asps is under their lips. Selah
A serpent may bite when it is not charmed; The babbler is no different.
Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit"; "The poison of asps is under their lips".
Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.
Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man.
1 Corinthians 11:7
For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.
Matthew 7:16 - 20
You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God.
Whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame - who set their mind on earthly things.
1 Corinthians 3:3
For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
1 Corinthians 2:6
However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
1 Corinthians 2:7
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory.
My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality.
