Beware of the Scribes

Mark 12

38 Then b He said to them in His teaching, c "Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, d love greetings in the marketplaces, 39 "the e best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts, 40 f "who devour widows' houses, and 1 for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation."
