God a stands in the congregation of the mighty;
He judges among b the gods.
How long will you judge unjustly,
And c show partiality to the wicked? Selah
Defend the poor and fatherless;
Do justice to the afflicted and d needy.
Deliver the poor and needy;
Free them from the hand of the wicked.
They do not know, nor do they understand;
They walk about in darkness;
All the e foundations of the earth are unstable.
I said, f "You are gods,
And all of you are children of the Most High.
But you shall die like men,
And fall like one of the princes."
Arise, O God, judge the earth;
g For You shall inherit all nations.

2 Chronicles 19:6
And said to the judges, "Take heed to what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.
If you see the oppression of the poor, and the violent perversion of justice and righteousness in a province, do not marvel at the matter; for high official watches over high official, and higher officials are over them.
I said, "You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High.
'You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small as well as the great; you shall not be afraid in any man's presence, for the judgment is God's. The case that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it.'
It is not good to show partiality to the wicked, Or to overthrow the righteous in judgment.
You shall not pervert justice due the stranger or the fatherless, nor take a widow's garment as a pledge.
But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.
He judged the cause of the poor and needy; Then it was well. Was not this knowing Me?" says the LORD.
If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?
Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, 'I said, "You are gods" ' ?
Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!
