To the choirmaster: according to The Sheminith. A Psalm of David.
Save, O Lord, for m the godly one is gone;
for the faithful have vanished from among the children of man.
Everyone n utters lies to his neighbor;
with o flattering lips and p a double heart they speak.
May the Lord cut off all o flattering lips,
the tongue that makes q great boasts,
those who say, "With our tongue we will prevail,
our lips are with us; who is master over us?"
"Because r the poor are plundered, because the needy groan,
s I will now arise," says the Lord;
"I will place him in the t safety for which he longs."
u The words of the Lord are pure words,
like silver refined in a furnace on the ground,
purified seven times.
You, O Lord, will keep them;
you will guard us from this generation forever.
On every side the wicked prowl,
as vileness is exalted among the children of man.

The righteous man perishes, and no one lays it to heart; devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from calamity.
The godly has perished from the earth, and there is no one upright among mankind; they all lie in wait for blood, and each hunts the other with a net.
And when one comes to see me, he utters empty words, while his heart gathers iniquity; when he goes out, he tells it abroad.
Whose mouths speak lies and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
For there is no truth in their mouth; their inmost self is destruction; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongue.
Their tongue is a deadly arrow; it speaks deceitfully; with his mouth each speaks peace to his neighbor, but in his heart he plans an ambush for him.
For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.
1 Chronicles 12:33
Of Zebulun 50,000 seasoned troops, equipped for battle with all the weapons of war, to help David with singleness of purpose.
He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Everyone utters lies to his neighbor; with flattering lips and a double heart they speak.
I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.
And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months.
They close their hearts to pity; with their mouths they speak arrogantly.
For he who avenges blood is mindful of them; he does not forget the cry of the afflicted.
Now I will arise," says the Lord, "now I will lift myself up; now I will be exalted.
Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!
He redeems my soul in safety from the battle that I wage, for many are arrayed against me.
This God - his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.
Your promise is well tried, and your servant loves it.
Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
