Born again, semi-retired, short term missionary to Scotland
Raised in a Presbyterian home, very much a church attender until college, attended an Episcopalian high school, but after university became super smart and a mocker of people who believed you either went to heaven or hell when you died. The Holy Spirit literally knocked me to the ground and said, "That "C" that you have been chasing (with Confidence you can achieve anything) is wrong. That C should stand for Christ and you need to put your faith in Him." I bawled for a half hour saying "I'm sorry" and was born again. Since then I have been faithful in attending churches that only teach verse by verse through the Bible, a teacher in adult Sunday school, missions trips to Scotland, and activities leader in church "over 50s" groups. My wife is an expert in Passover and we have conducted the Seder in church and each year in our home.
