In my opinion, a Christian worldview is determined by and characterized by a belief that the Bible is absolutely true. Extremely important are the first verses of Genesis and the gospel of John - "in the beginning God created" and "in the beginning was the Word". If an individual believes that life emerged from some primordial goo, how will they ever have an understanding of how important is the decision of where they will spend eternity?

I believe that the widespread acceptance of the theory of evolution is the major impetus for a worldview so diametrically opposed to the truth of the Bible. Relative humanism is the result when there is no belief in the original lawgiver, God almighty. If a person does not believe that God created the heavens and earth about 6,000 years ago, how can they believe the rest of the Bible and God's plan of salvation through belief in Jesus Christ?
