A retired, part qualified Accountant
74 years young, a widower with two married daughters and one grandson. I am from Sri Lanka, previously known as Ceylon, the pearl of the Indian Ocean, at the bottom of South India, where only man is vile. Born to an Anglican family but grew up in a New Testament Assembly from the age of about 9, under a Buddhist convert, who was British qualified double Engineer. There were 3 other Elders. The Assembly is similar to the Brethren Assemblies , except that ladies are permitted to pray audibly and worship the Lord at the Breaking of Bread service every Sunday morning. We we encouraged to read scripture daily and to memorize scripture. Worked in field of accounts for 44 years.
