I have a degree in electronic engineering, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Physics with Technology).
Recently I have had to semi - retire due to two heart attacks. 
I was healing to the point I thought I could go back to some part time teaching. But in October 2013, I started getting numbness and paralysis in my right arm and leg. Fearing a stroke, I had an MRI scan, which revealed a stenosis of the spine that needs an operation.
