My short and simple answer is this: God answers our prayers in "His own timing" and by His will for our lives. When we approach God in prayer, we ask, seek and desire His will for us to be done 'by the power of His Holy Spirit'. Everything desired and request we may have can be put forth to God in Heaven by simply 'asking in the name of Jesus' if it be His Will' for our lives! Prophets were for the Old Testament times, not today! --Andy--
