I would like to respectfully make mention that Altzeimer's Disease in indeed a controversial subject. From the research I have done, I believe that it is part of Satan's plan - obviously God does not have such a plan to kill, steal and destroy. "My people perish for a lack of knowledge" there is much to learn about the prevention of this disease if one takes the time to pray and do the research. My God promises me long life and to show me His salvation -- this does not include spending my elder years in captivity. Thank you for allowing me to share - Shalom!

As an old guy myself, I remember at least in the old testament that those who honor their parents will live long upon the earth. I dishonored my parents in my later teenage years, but was able to honor them later when they lost everything they had and came to live with my family.

There are no certainty's in this life, as we all deserve hell. But we can love God all the more for sending His son to die in our place so that we can have a home in heaven. The grace and mercy of God is beyond our understanding. Why should a Holy God send His only Son to die for undeserving sinners. Love can be the only answer. The love of God is greater than all our sin.

At 75 years old I can thank God for even those aches and pains that He allows that bring me close to Him. All I want now is to fellowship with the one who saved me. I know that I am the clay and He is the potter and has every right to do with what He has purchased with His own blood.
