Faith is presented as a gift from God (2 Pet.1:1, Ph.1:29,Acts3:16) When we accept the finished work on the cross by Jesus Christ on our behalf we act by faith supplied by grace. That is the supreme act of faith; the act which, though it is ours, is primarily God's - His gift to us out of His grace.
