Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

You need to teach your children about God's love and His commandments. When they get old enough, you need to teach them that they are sinners and they need to ask God for forgiveness and accept Jesus into their heart. Until they understand this and have the desire for Jesus to move into their lives, there is nothing you can do to make sure your child is going to heaven. It is an individual's choice and it cannot be forced or made by someone else.

Nothing! Jesus said that the meek shall inherit this earth. You do not go to heaven when you die, you go to the grave [hades, sheol]. You remain there until the sound of the trumpet and are called out from among the dead to rise up and meet the lord Jesus in the air as he travels toward Mount Sinai where all who are resurrected with receive their positions in the Theocratic Government that will rule over the earth when Jesus takes his place on the throne of David at Zion.

William Tyndale refuted the Catholic Church's position that believers went to heaven when they died, for then what need for the resurrection?.

Indeed. When Jesus returns those who are his will rise up and co-rule and co-inherit with him all things on this earth.
