I want to thank Mr. Houdmann for his work. It is a blessing to be able to read his articles, also everything he does with GotQuestions. On the topic of self-discipline, I struggle with perspective. In all of history until recent generations, just going about your daily functions required much physical activity, and there was little to eat. Now, we must go out of our way to be active, and to restrict our eating from what we are accustomed to. Do we truly need to obsess over these issues, as well as applying ourselves to things we know are right pursuits, such as prayer, Bible study, kindness, chastity, and sharing the Gospel? Even those vital things can be daily struggles. Thank you for the chance to learn.
