Considering the size of the Tabernacle complex (150 ft. x 75 ft.), how were the priests able to handle the volume of daily sacrifices likely for a congregation of approximately one million? Exodus 38:25-26 indicates that the population of Israel, not including women, children and the elderly, was 603,550. The total number of Levites counted was 8585 in Numbers 4:48, and only a relatively small number of these were eligible to perform sacrifices. How did they manage to handle this enormous task?

ESV - 9 You shall make the court of the tabernacle. On the south side the court shall have hangings of fine twined linen a hundred cubits long for one side. 10 Its twenty pillars and their twenty bases shall be of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.

In my humble opinion the simple answer is that when God directs a thing to be done in a certain way He will provide that which is needed (often against narcissistic human logic). Judges 4:9 Is the arm of the Lord to short to accomplish His will or is anything too hard for the Lord? Of course not. His ways are not our ways, His ways are higher than ours. The grand mathematician shows His awesome, limitless power throughout His creation as a cosmic calling card to both the believer and non believer alike. Judges 7:3; Judges 7:4; Judges 7:7; Judges 7:12; Judges 7:16 I submit that the power behind just one man or woman of God standing bold and fearless against the powers of darkness is more than able to meet the challenge set before them. And this side of heaven the full and complete knowledge of the kingdom just might cause our little human heads to explode (much like an over inflated balloon) 1 Cor. 16:13 For me the two greatest wonders of all, is simply that the creator would want to interact with us first and then second send His only son to purchase the freedom of such a rebellious person as myself and that part my friend is quite humbling indeed.
