During the times of Christ Jesus, Macedonia and Achaia are now the modern day Greece. There was another Country that was within that area now Greece, the name of that Country was Epirus, These were on Paul's second and third Missionary Journeys.

I humbly submit that you are correct in your selection of Greece as to containing the area known as "Macedonia and Achaia" (Acts 19:21; Romans 15:26; 1 Thessalonians 1:7)

Macedonia (Northern Greece) was separated from Achaia in 27 BC by Roman emperor Octavian the successor to Julius Caesar, and Corinth was made the capital of the redrawn province of Achaia which consisted of the Peloponnese, central Greece including Athens and possibly Thessaly and Epirus.

In AD 15 emperor Tiberius joined Achaia to Moesia (today North Eastern Bulgaia) and in AD 41 or 44 emperor Claudius (nephew of Caligula and later poisoned by wife, father of Nero) restored it to Greece and Thessaly and Epirus were it's Northern border by AD 65.
