What does it mean this vision explains the future time?

Habakkuk 2:3

ESV - 3 For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end - it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

Hab 2:3 says, "And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it". This prophecy in Habakkuk 2:2-3 is unfulfilled

The following 2 predictions are unfulfilled:

1. The vision (of the second coming of Christ, as proved in Heb. 10:37) is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie (Hab. 2:3)

2. Though it tarry, wait for it (the second coming of Christ); it will not tarry

Hope that clarifies.
