Hi Paul, I have heard that also but wonder, do you have a scripture to back it up? The Bible clearly says at that time they mated with humans. I have often wondered if God changed them somewhere along the line after that happened. I also wondered about them now being chained up in darkness, so is that their physical form and now only their spirit is on the earth?

His Ways and Thoughts are higher, they aren't our thoughts and ways so we cannot deny the possibilities of what angels can do. For it also says what's impossible for man is possible for GOD. This reads like a grade B movie that might be easily dismissible by adults. However, thinking adults may not be the audience. Hollywood could make a "great" box office hit with this subject and with Biblical references, as provided, it would seem authentic. For "thinking" adults, it seems the subject is currently irrelevant, although historically curious.
I found myself wondering if Goliath and his brethren were Nephilim and if the recent historical monsters (Judas, Hitler, Stalin, Idi Amin, Sadaam Hussein, etc.) were of the same DNA.

Several pastors who were teaching classes I took, believe that angels can not breed. That they were just big men. I don't really know.

We are told in the NT resurrected bodies will be like the angles "not given in marriage", which seem to confirm the thought they cannot reproduce!

God never called any angel his son, either before the fall or after the fall. Heb1:5 and 13. God only called 2 sets of people his sons: Christ and Man! Read Heb 1 & other scriptures. Nephilims were MEN of great stature and great acts. They were the outcome of Sons of God (the Holy seed) co mingling with daughters of men (corrupted seed). The product of this were MEN whose lifestyle were corrupt, evil and sinful, yet they were mighty in acts, politics, music, you name it. My conclusion is that Nephilims were MEN, not fallen angels.
