It is good to know that God is omnipresent (everywhere at one time)-it is one of His attributes. Coinciding with His omnipresence are the attributes of omniscience (all knowledge) and omnipotence (...

The companionship of God is something I am totally enamored with. After all, He's our best Friend, if we are Christians!

When we fear God, we need not fear anything else. On his deathbed, John Wesley said, “Best of all, God is with us!” God is not only with us, but He is also for us; and “if God be for us, who can be against us?” (Rom. 8:31). WWW

The only proof that God is with us is that we love Him and do His will. Religion without righteousness and justice in the land is hypocrisy. No matter how many people attend religious meetings, if the result is not obedience to God and concern for our neighbor, the meetings are a failure. (Amos 5, Wiersbe).

If the Lord is to be pleased with us and glorified before an unbelieving world, we must hear His Word, believe it, and act upon it, no matter what the circumstances may be. After all, God is with us, and “If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Rom. 8:31). (Wiersbe on Haggai 1). See especially Haggai 1:13 --

“Then spake Haggai the LORD'S messenger in the LORD'S message unto the people, saying, ‘I am with you, saith the LORD.’”
