I thought the Jewish calendar was a lunar one and it ended up being a 354 day year with adjustments later to match modern solar based calendars. I base this mostly on a website called Judaism 101. Just wondering what was right.

My opinion is that the year was roughly 360 days following the Jewish calendar. They followed a lunar calendar instead of a solar calendar. There is calendar correction somehow through Sabbath years and Jubilee years.
