The Bible speaks extensively about trust, particularly in the context of trusting in God rather than in human strength, wealth, or circumstances. The verses I list emphasize faith and reliance on God. Let’s examine them:

Psalm 40:4
"Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies."
This verse highlights the blessings of trusting in God rather than relying on the deceitfulness of human pride and falsehood. True trust in God brings security and favor.

2 Kings 18:5
"He trusted in the Lord God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him."
This speaks of Hezekiah’s extraordinary faith in God. He did not rely on alliances or idols but placed his full confidence in the Lord. As a result, he was a uniquely faithful king, setting a high standard for trust in God.

Psalm 62:8
"Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah."
