Here in Africa witchcraft is prevalent and sometimes when a person dies suddenly issues of that person being be witched arise. Would one say premature death?
Even though my physical body has died two times after medical procedures. Even thoughI have a medical device to slow my heart rate down when it speeds up to fast, God is still the one in command. I walk entirely in faith knowing He brought me into this life and He will take me out in His time. His time is when He decides, not mankind's time.
I have researched this verse in Ecc. 7. 17, and the Bible is clear on this subject--let's not interject our own desires here. If we live a sinful life, then through our reckless living, we will cut our life short, but the Bible promises us that if we live our lives according to God's commands, then we will live a prolonged life.
God is the one cutting lives short or prolonging lives, so yes, we still have an appointed time to die, whether it be shortened or lengthened.
God decides the range of each life, however nitwits can hurry their end by settling on poor decisions.
