I humbly submit that from my own youthful experiences as an active member of the other kingdom for way too long, such manifestations are indeed possible.

Scripture tells us that to deceive, Satan himself can appear as an angel of light as he did to Mormon's Joe Smith and Islam's messenger Muhammad, weather it was he or one of his demonic minions matters not.

Demons have to occupy a place, an object or a living being for the most part, but there is a special class of those who attend demon night school so to speak.
But even their super powers are nothing, when compared to the power and authority that even a baby Christian wield's if only their totally aware of it, this is where the enemy's deception plays a big part.

Scripture tells us that God' people "My people parish for lack of knowledge" the next verse tells us why they do "because you have rejected knowledge"

Whatever exist's in God's perfect kingdom, you will always find a cheap copy of it in the dark kingdom as the evil one lacks the power to create anything, but fear.

► Angels, satan, fallen angels have "spiritual body". 
► A Greek: pneumatikos (G4152) is to refer the spiritual body. Rom. 7:14. 

► By this is meant the body will become of immortal substance. It has no reference to becoming immaterial, intangible, and without flesh and bones, for our resurrected bodies will still be flesh and bone, though not flesh and blood. Refer Lk. 24:39; Php. 3:21. 

► "Spirit bodies" are as real as can be, but of a higher substance than natural bodies. 

► God and angels have spirit bodies, and yet they are real tangible and materialized bodies, as proved by hundreds of passages describing them and many personal acts (Jn. 4:24).

The fallen angels did not preserve their first estate (Greek: their own principality) in Jude. They did not remain in their own realm and native state, but left them so as to enter the human realm and marry the daughters of men in Gen 6:2. This was an attempt to do away with pure Adamite stock and thus keep the seed of the woman from coming into the world to defeat them (Gen. 6:1-4; 2Pet. 2:4). It is stated here that the angels, like Sodom and Gomorrha, lived contrary to nature and committed fornication (Jude 1:6-7).

For this special sin of fornication (Jude 1:7), those angels are now bound in tartarus in chains until the great white throne judgment (2Pet. 2:4; Rev. 20:11-15).

A demon appeared to me dressed as a Catholic Priest. I had no reason for this thing to appear. It was tall and well built and its hair was perfect in the Roy Orbison style. It spoke with a strange squeaky voice and asked me to go with it. Each time it spoke I told it to F off. It disappeared, but when I stood up it pulled my cross and chain off from the back, I found it three days later on the front door mat. I have nothing but hatred for the devil and always will have. Since then I've had lots of illness.
