Let me simply state that the 1335 days of Dan. 12:12 is the last possible day for the Rapture/resurrection to occur. I know that will not sit well with Pre- or mid-Tribulationist, but it fits perfectly with a Post-Tribulation view of the Rapture. No one can know the day or the hour of our Lord’s return, but the 1290 days in Dan. 12:11 and the 1335 days in Dan. 12:12 give you a 45 day window in which the Rapture can occur at any time. Daniel was told to “go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the age” – Dan. 12:13 (NASB). To rise again is in reference to the resurrection (I Corinthians 15:51-52). It occurs within the twinkling of an eye of the Rapture (1 Thess. 4:16-17) when the dead are raised first. The Rapture and the resurrection share the sound of a trumpet, and occur simultaneously – a critical point of reference. We are talking about the end of the Church Age here, as Dan. 12:1 mentions a “time of trouble” that has never been seen by the Jews. This is in reference to “Jacobs Trouble” – Jer. 30:7: “Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it; and it is the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it” (NKJV). As it states in both cases, the Jews will be saved/delivered from Jacob’s Trouble. This is in reference to the sealing of the 144,000 Jews in Rev. 7:3-4, which occurs prior to the great multitude (Rev. 7:9) who just came out of the Great Tribulation (Rev. 7:13-14). The 1,335 days of Daniel 12:12 come after the ‘time of trouble,’ Daniel 12:1, which Jeremiah 30:7 calls ‘the time of Jacob’s trouble. It will be a future time of unprecedented trouble for Israel. Then the people will be delivered, Daniel 12:2. In Daniel 12:6, 7, Daniel asks how long it will last and he is told it will be ‘a time, times, and half a time’ or three and one-half years. This would be what Jesus called the Great Tribulation, the last half of the tribulation, Matthew 24:21, coming after the Abomination of Desolation when the temple is desecrated by the Antichrist. In the count of days, this comes to 1,260 days. That leaves 30 days to the 1,290 days, Daniel 12:11, and another 45 days to the 1,335 days, Daniel 12:12. The question is what events do these days lead to? The 30-day period likely fits the judgment of the Gentile nations, Matthew 25:31-46. The 45-day period is likely the Judgment Seat since it fits with the soon ushering in of the millennial kingdom. Traditionally, the Bema or Judgment Seat of Christ is placed during the Tribulation. The greatest problem with this is that Tribulation saints are not included and yet Revelation 20:4-6 indicates the martyred saints of the Tribulation period will rule in the kingdom. Then a separate time to judge them must be set up. But within the 45-day period, all saints of all the ages stand before Christ at the same time. Some may question what the raptured saints will be doing during the Tribulation. The answer is they will be with the Bridegroom enjoying His presence. The timing of the Judgment Seat of Christ has to be between Christ’s return and the Christ’s coming kingdom. Through the parable of the minas, Luke 19:12-27, it is shown that Jesus will assess His servants when He returns to the earth. Also, in Matthew 16:27, Jesus states He will reward His faithful followers after His return which Paul also affirms in II Timothy 4:1, that Jesus “will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom.” It is the same in Hebrews 10:35-38, where believers are exhorted to endure faithfully until Jesus rewards them after His return. In Revelation 11:15-18, when the kingdom of God replaces the kingdom of the world, the twenty-four elders announce it is time for the Lord to reward His faithful servants. Both of these great judgments are after Christ comes in glory with His saints and before the Millennial kingdom is ushered in. There will be no unfinished business as preparations are made for Christ’s kingdom. The reason for Christ to judge believers is to determine those who will be given responsibilities to rule and have authority with Christ in the coming kingdom. The two judgments fulfill the two great judgments Christ will do before the Millennial Kingdom is ushered in. The judgment seat of Christ is the only event that could fit in the forty-five-day period.

This is a description of the Great Tribulation Christ echoes in Matthew 24:21-22. Both Daniel 12:7 and Revelation 12:14 show that the Great Tribulation will last three-and-one-half years, or "a time, times, and half a time." This is also 1,260 days or forty-two months (see Daniel 7:25; Revelation 11:2-3). The angel tells Daniel that his prophecies would be sealed until the end of the age, but in that time "the wise would understand" (Daniel 12:9-10). These prophecies will soon be fulfilled, and God is revealing what they mean to those who obey Him. The 1,290-day and 1,335-day time periods, then, refer to events that will happen to the people of God in this generation. Each period begins with a significant prophetic event, and both end at the return of Jesus Christ.

I see this as an intriguing mystery of Scripture not integral to our salvation but interesting as a student of the Bible, God's ways and his extraordinarily detailed and miraculous plan. The woman retreating into the wilderness of Revelation 12:13-14 and the "holy people" of Daniel 12:7 are the church coming to faith during the first half of the Tribulation, the 1,260 days, the ones literally "left behind" at the Rapture. The Jews have not yet come to salvation in Christ and restore the sacrifices at a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem, per Daniel 12:11. Antichrist has allowed this, signing a peace treaty with Israel near the beginning of the seven years (Daniel 9:27). However, he claims to be God in the temple and stops sacrifices at the 3½-year mark (same verse). The Hebrews then realize they've been had and turn to Christ. The horrible oppression of the now-Messianic Jewish Christians lasts for 1,290 days (Daniel 12:11). The 2,300 days mentioned in Daniel 8:14 ends with a cleansing, so I interpret the period’s conclusion to be the same as the end of the 1,290 days. Therefore, the 1,010 days preceding the latter will see Old Testament observances at the temple. The most difficult aspect to figure out is the last 45 days (1,290-1,335 days). I think this may be when the bowl judgments are poured out on the Earth (Revelation 16), disturbing Antichrist's reign and ultimately judging the planet so it may be cleansed. I think this also gives a window for the Second Coming to be during this time, so that the exact day and hour are not known. However, the remnant of God's people will be encouraged that there will be an end to the mayhem by the 1335th day (Daniel 12:12). The "first resurrection" of Revelation 20:6 occurs at the Second Coming, between the 1,290 and 1,335 days. I see that from Daniel 12:13, in which the angel instructs the prophet he will “rest” (die) but be raised at the end of "the days." Note the verse does not say the exact number of days. I think some of the 45 days may also be Jesus on earth separating sheep from goats after his advent (Matthew 25:31-46). The millennial reign of Christ begins upon the resurrection of the saints (Revelation 20:6). ###

In my opinion, these numbers in Daniel and Revelation refer to the time of the seven-year covenant entered into by the Jews and many others, (Dan 9:27) specifically the time after the future temple is violated by the 10-horned beast. 1260 days - the length of time the two prophets prophesy after the abomination of desolation. 42 months - the time the beast continues to reign (illegally, since he has violated the seven-year covenant). This is about 1277-9 days, the time of Jacob's trouble. He is defeated by the kings of the east and the armies of heaven. 1290 days - the time the temple is desolate before being purified and reconsecrated. This would not be possible before the beast is defeated. 1335 days - the time it takes to complete the seven-year covenant. Jews who do not violate the covenant themselves during this 45 day period after reconsecration are blessed in Dan 12:12. Afterwards they are free to do as they may choose. The 2300 days of Dan 8:14 refer to the violation of the temple by Antiochus Epiphanes IV in Autumn of 169 BC until the granting of religious freedom by Antiochus V in 162 BC. Although the temple was purified and functioning before then, the Jews remained under Seleucid authority since the times of the Gentiles wasn't over. The temple could officially function only with the permission of the Seleucid government.

I am a student and scholar of 6000-year chronology of which people like to mismatch Adam and Flood and Armageddon. And in comparing the errors the differences between these timelines of 6000 years are 1260 and 1290 and 1335, of which these numbers and 2300 are also spans from Jerusalem destroyed or returning until the end of these several false-6000 Armageddons. There is a Columbus Samaritan 6000 and a British 6000 (that ends 2300 years after Daniel dies). All these variations were easy predictions for anyone to make. And the Persian Magi priests in Babylon with Daniel easily shared this with him in their discussions, disputes and arguments.

Whilst doing an exegesis on Daniel 11 & 12, where I name every king and player from Alexander the Great, Cleopatra, to Antiochus and his nemesis, the Roman Senator Gaius Popillius Laenas, and even Onias III, a pious Jewish high priest, I ran the gambit, but my greatest find was in Daniel 12, where I finally understood what the 1290 and 1335 were. In vs. 6 the angel asks the Man in Linen (Jesus preincarnate) how long it would take until all of these wonders ended (Dan. 11:36-45), and the answer is basically this: from the time this Little Horn/Anti-Christ (A.C.) conquers Israel until all of these wonders end will be 1260 days (time, times and half). So, that made me think, Jesus' second coming has to be what ends these wonders, because those wonders were about the 42 month rule of the coming A.C. As I read on however, I saw a fatal flaw in how we have come to diagnose the numbers 1290 and 1335. We do not take the exact same symmetry as used on the 1260, even though we basically get the same question, albeit from Daniel in vs. 8, "What shall be the end of these things?" Then we get the 1290 and 1335, but we fail to understand these numbers must also be juxtaposed against Jesus' second coming ending "these things" here also. So, whatever the 1290 is, it had to happen 1290 days before the 2nd coming and the 1335 had to happen 1335 days before the 2nd coming, and the second coming is what ends all of these wonders or things. What threw me off a wee bit was I had always assumed, like most people, that the 1290 event had to be the Anti-Christ. But it will be the false prophet, his right hand man, a Jewish high priest gone rogue like Jason (real name Yeshua) under Antiochus, who bribed his way to be named the high priest, having his pious high priest brother Onias III killed. He then welcomed Antiochus into the temple to sacrifice a pig unto Zeus and mandated that all Jews must become Hellenized, leading unto the Maccabean revolt. So, the end time false prophet will be like unto his archetype, Jason. In Dan. 9:27 it actually says he (A.C.) causes the sacrifice and the AoD to take place. In my humble opinion, this means from afar, the A.C. can't go forth conquering until 30 days later at the 1260. So, the false prophet stops Jesus worship, not some profane meat sacrifice, and he then places an image of the A.C. in the temple like Rev. 13 says he does. This makes sense when we think it through. Why would God allow the A.C. to conquer Jerusalem before the Jews are given the sign to flee Judea at the AoD? Thus Israel now has 30 days to flee to the Petra/Bozrah area of safety. Since Israel repents, they have to have heard the gospel. Thus the 1335 blessing has to be the two witnesses, and Malachi 4:5 says Elijah will be sent back before the DOTL, which is the 1260. Zech. 13:8-9 seems to back this up; 1/3 of Israel repents, then in the very next vs. Zech. 14:1-2 we see the DOTL arrives and Jerusalem gets sacked. So, the Jews repent just before the 1260 DOTL event. It also fits the beasts and two witnesses timelines. Both have 1260 day ordained offices, so since the two witnesses die at the 2nd woe, and the beast dies at the 7th vial, and both have 1260 day offices, then the two witnesses also must show up before the beast, and they do, 75 days before the beast. And they also, of course, die 75 days before the beast dies. It all jibes. The 1335 blessing equals the two witnesses showing up to turn Israel back unto God 1335 days before the 2nd coming. The 1290 equals the false prophet stopping Jesus worship in the temple by the 5 million (1/3) or so Jews who repent. He takes away "The [real] Sacrifice", or forbids Jesus worship. The 1260 equals the Anti-Christ conquering Jerusalem 1260 days before the 2nd coming ends the Anti-Christs reign of terror. We overcomplicate this when we should keep it simple.
