Is it wise to join forums to debate theology with those who profess another gospel? (e.g. Jehovahs Witnesses, Mormons, etc.)

Not all the time.

The first step towards reconciliation is to meet people where they are. So yes, attending debate theology with people of other faith helps us to better understand why they believe what they believe.

On the other hand, people gravitate towards love. The consistent act of loving kindness is what wins over more people than the knowledge of theological truths.
