Is there something significant about HOW the sower is planting his seeds?

He seems to be doing it half-hazardly like he doesn't care where the seeds land. How do we apply this to how we share our faith? Are we supposed to do it half-hazardly, are we supposed to sort of just do it without our knowledge (let our life be our testimony)?

Matthew 13:1 - 9

NLT - 1 Later that same day Jesus left the house and sat beside the lake. 2 A large crowd soon gathered around him, so he got into a boat. Then he sat there and taught as the people stood on the shore.

The good news - the message of salvation by Jesus, through Jesus, is meant for all of humanity, regardless of race (Jews or Gentiles), age, gender or wealth. 

As part of the great commission (Matthew 28:19-20), we are to reach out to all nations. It is not up to us to decide who gets the "seed" and who doesn't. We share with everyone. Some will reject it. Some will receive it but loose it. And then some will receive it and multiply a hundred fold.

Will we know which "seed" will fail and which will multiply? We don't. We are just part of many touch points that God has in store for each person. The Apostle Paul wrote "I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth" in 1 Corinthians 3:6. 

So worry not about who and where you plant your seeds. Throw it to all and let God give the growth.
