Can a believer continue to listen to a popular TV or radio preacher if they know there is some bad stuff, but he feels he can weed it out and enjoy the things he knows are biblical?

Its like trying to find something good to eat in a trash can. You might eventually find a bite or two that's decent but look at all the garbage you have to dig through to find it. By the time you find it, the appearance and smell causes you to lose your appetite.

This is what I have learned by way my own experience: For those of us who are saved, we have been given the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth. He guides and teaches us. That being said, I listen to TV and other preachers and teachers. Instead of accepting what they say is truth or correct, I ask the Lord to show me the truth on what they say, to remove any obstacles in recieving thst truth. What I have found is this: It brings more guestions in that pursuit of the answers, causing me to learn more of God's word and to be listening to the Lord through the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said, He (he Holy Spirit) will only tell you what I tell him to tell you and He bring to your remembrance those things ive told you before.
