Why is preaching a folly? And why is God pleased with us making such a folly?

This is my take on this verse:
We cannot fully preach the greatness of God, as no one understands the mind of God, so it is a folly, that we sometimes preach incorrect things. However, God is pleased with the efforts that preachers make, to spread the Word and bring them to Christ.

But I am not entirely sure, so please help me clarify my doubt thank you! 

1 Corinthians 1:21

ESV - ²¹ For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe.
