May I suggest that if you want to see the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit dispensed today, go to a place that invites and welcomes the Holy Spirit in and you will be amazed. Go to Bethel Church in Redding, CA. We have and it was amazing. Attend a Global Awakening Seminar, we did and it was awesome. I believe that the Holy Spirit is just as active today as ever, if we will just ask Him and make ourselves available.

I'm pleased to hear that the Spirit visited those places when you were there. I don't have to go anywhere special to witness His presence. He makes Himself known to Me day to day. He doesn't light altars, speak through interpreters, or extend daylight hours when I'm pushed for time; nothing close to any of that.
He leads me beside the still waters.He restores my soul. He leads me in the path of righteousness for His namesake (purpose). I enjoy the life experiences that David wrote about in Psalm 23.
The way I can tell is I remember my life before the Holy Spirit moved in. I remember the day I was sure of His presence. (I learned the hard way to let the experience be between Him and me. Some fellow Christians I told
of the experience thought I was either losing my mind or trying to gain fame. I learned a lesson). He's much more subtle now, (thank goodness) but He's unmistakably helping, leading, and teaching (John 14,15,16). The first thing He did was He testified of Jesus, that Jesus is whom the bible (word) says He is. That took care of two birds. I've tried to follow Him ever since.
I don't need any more miraculous signs. I think they're used to spark belief in those who are not yet believing. Otherwise, the whole thing will appear to be a show.
