I believe that because the essential oils come from natural plants and sources created by God that learning about the oils, and how they work is a good thing.
I make oils for people and when they thank me for the oils working, I tell them don't thank me, thank God who created them (the plants and sources for extracting to oil). I don't take any credit for essential oils working. I really praise God for giving me this answer. Especially since doctors just want to push their pharmaceutical drugs on me.

I do think it's very important to know who your suppliers are. I deal with a family business that are true Christians and do their business to glorify God.
So be very careful that the oils are pure in this sense and not pagan companies. Hope this helps.

God commanded Moses to infuse oil with aromatic spices to make a sacred anointing oil for the priests in Exodus 30:22–38. God also commanded the priests to add scented oil to certain sacrifices to make them “a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the LORD” (Leviticus 2:1–2, ESV). The wise men brought frankincense (an aromatic incense) and myrrh to Jesus after His birth (Matthew 2:11). Jesus was anointed with perfumed oil several times, and twice in the week coming up to His crucifixion (Matthew 26:7, 12; Luke 7:37–38; John 12:3). James instructed the church to use anointing oil when praying for the healing of those who are sick (James 5:14). And God gave John a vision of the new heaven and the new earth where “the leaves of the tree [of life] are for the healing of the nations” (Revelation 22:2). It is the intention behind essential oils that is the issue rather than the oils themselves.

In using oils we must acknowledge Christ as our healer and refrain from focussing on the oil. They may have beneficial properties but God is our source of life. It is wise to choose carefully where we source essential oils from but this is true of everything. I believe that we should be prayerful at all times and careful what and who we allow to influence us,
