Yes, because of chemical imbalances in the brain sometimes medication is required.Your doctor has seen many cases of depression. They are in the know and trained in all aspects of mental health. I was once prescribed medication that helped me beat depression. I also had a caring doctor who was strict with me and told me how to conduct myself to avoid the triggers making things worse. I was also praying for healing.
