Is it right to refer to the law as worst than witchcraft? 

We have heard a preacher refer to the law as worst than witchcraft and that David sinned meditating upon the law day and night.

Read Romans 7, the entire chapter.

Romans 7:12 " Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good."
