Brother - you make an interesting point, but I think you are missing something important. Our bodies are not changed until Christ returns, but we are born again in our spirit when we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Paul refers to the Holy Spirit as deposit guaranteeing believers an inheritance in Ephesians 1. Peter describes the same thing in 1 Peter 1. Yes - we are born again when we accept Christ. But our bodies are not changed until Christ 's return.
