Transcendent Causal Reality can be described as a process to reach a level of reality that is not ordinarily achieved by the majority of mankind. A more intensely perceived reality.

Transcendent Reality is an attempt to reach a spiritual state which is experienced by a person seeking their inner-self. It represents the real awareness of the “Nafs-soul” (self, psyche, the subtle reality of an individual) during a higher level of consciousness. Rare moments of self-possession.

It is said to be an achievement of perception and thus a conscious awareness of cosmic reality experienced as a direct result of tranquility of thought.

The concept of Transcendent Causal Reality stems from--among other sources--Islamic ideology. TCR is wrapped up in the concept of the existence of God, and how to achieve a meeting of the mind of God with the minds of men.

One aspect of this philosophy is the explanation of existence itself. Some question that if existence needs a cause (God), then what caused God? Christian theists, however, do not consider that everything needs a cause. Rather, they argue that anything that begins must have a cause.

But the triune God does not have a cause. He was not created--not the Father, not the son, not the Holy Ghost. God always has been.
In the sometimes desperate attempt to answer every question--especially how did God come to be? (Micah 5:2), (Colossians 1:17), a number of unbiblical techniques have been devised to try and supply answers. Amongst those techniques is Transcendent Causal Reality. Attempts to reach such exalted levels of consciousness are simply not in the cards for human beings while we are still on this plane.

"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." (1 Corinthians 13:12_ (KJV)

We are reminded of the lyrics of that great Gospel song, "Farther along we'll know all about it."

Philosophers like David Hume, Immanuel Kant and René Descartes have muddied the waters, leading mankind astray from the purity of the search for God. One cannot search for God without going to the intercessor--our Savior, Jesus Christ! (John 14:6)

Attempting to reach omnipotence through New Age meditation techniques, or false religions that utilize aspects of TCR--not only Islam, but Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, or Bahá'í Faith--shall surely fail.

The Christian will keep to Bible study, along with prayer, in the search for the mind of God!
