Bob Rutz Jesus loves me.

The New Testament is full of evidence that God forgives you and forgets it, like it never happened, along with the revelation that this forgiveness and forgetting comes as part of a "package" named Jesus Christ.

As you give yourself back to Him and He lives in you, He makes you ready to live with Him forever. That's His job.

Your job is to let Him do it.

Now, about why we have to answer to God about what we have done: The short answer is He is checking us out here, allowing us to go through all kinds of stuff, to see how much He can trust us with seated in our position on the huge throne of Jesus Christ, ruling and reigning with Him not only through the millennium but on through the coming ages.

We're talking big stuff here. We've already spent billions of dollars researching what it's going to make Venus habitable. What are you going to do with it when He gives it to you? (Revelation 2:28).

What are you going to do with your ten cities? (Luke 19:17). Understand that there are people continuing to multiply on the earth during the millennium and beyond, into the coming ages, but the number of those ruling and reigning with Christ seems to be fixed at the final judgment.

So in Romans 14:12 and Matthew12:36-37 and II Corinthians 5:10, the saved-by-Jesus saints are not standing there to receive judgment, but instead we are there giving a word-by-word account of what we've done with every talent, every minute, every dollar, and yes, every word from our mouths. As He said about this, "He who is faithful in little, will be faithful in much." (Luke 16:10)

This account will determine not only our rewards, but the amount of Kingdom business He will be able to trust us with down through the coming ages. For starters, 2 cities, or 5 cities, or 10 cities... on what planets in what galaxies... or in new places He teaches us how to create? Remember, He made us like Him, and He loves to create! Imagine the praise music we can create by wirelessly connecting whole galaxies to sing His praises!

So consider carefully the account you are planning to give Him on that day. You will be giving your account surrounded by the people He has redeemed from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation!

If you didn't figure it out before, getting them there has been the greatest project of all time! He did His part during his visit here to the cross and through His death and resurrection.

Then He gave us all power and authority in heaven and earth and sent His Presence to live in us to complete, through us, the job He started.

It's not finished yet. According to JoshuaProject.org, there are still over 7,000 unreached people groups. People from most of these groups are now living in cities where God can enable you to reach them through your computer or smart phone, either in English, or through a translator, or during a Facebook conversation using an online English-Chinese Bible?

Over 200 million people of the Shaikh people group in India and Bangla Desh are listed at JoshuaProject.org as still unreached. On Accounts Day, how would you like to be the one telling the Lord, "There they are... there's my account... You sent me to them, and by your grace made Yourself known to them."

Can you come up with a better Account you look forward to giving Him?
