What is the point of living if a person like me is predestined to hell?
If someone learns about predestination and not being able to call for God for salvation, then what is that person suppose to do? Live life?

GOD LOVES US ALL SO MUCH!!! He hates sin... So everyone please turn to the Living GOD MAKER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH!!! In the name of His only Begotten Son JESUS CHRIST!!! He saved me!! Man I was the biggest heathen!! I was a dirty mess!! I did everything and anything you can think of... I DID IT!! His LOVE, FAITHFULNESS, MERCY, RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS, FORGIVENESS IS PERFECT IN SPITE OF ME!!!!! I am garbage without Him!! I don't care how good you are or how bad you are!! His GOODNESS is perfect, powerful and better than yours and His LOVE, FORGIVENESS, & MERCY, are better than your sins and weakness!! It's in our weakness that He is our strength!! If we don't know what a piece of scrap we are without Him... We are blind and need His Gift of Repentance... Let's not be blind anymore... Let's stop looking at how bad people are and look at how bankrupt we ourselves are without HIM!! That's why A lot of folks think they don't need JESUS... It's because they keep comparing themselves with others who "seem" much worse! GOD is HOLY! HE is a CONSUMING FIRE!! Sin is sin!!!! Sin is so bad look at what JESUS DID ON THE CROSS!! Lying and murder is the same!! Homosexual sex and sex between man and women who aren't married is the same... Married men who don't have sex with a another women yet lusts after a women in his heart is an adulterer!! Hate in your heart is murder!! We don't sin because we are bad.. We all sin because we are sinners!! We all need JESUS!!! He is the ONLY WAY..

It is never, ever, too late to acknowledge Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and exist with Him for eternity in the home he is preparing for all who believe. I urge and beg you to consider that your lifetime here on earth is a small little miniscule blip on the screen of eternity; use it to come to Jesus Who is waiting for you, knocking on your door. I would advise you to immediately begin reading at least the New Testament, very slowly and quietly, by yourself, where you can give yourself the time to contemplate and pray as you read about God's eternal and never ending love, just for you! You will be in my prayers, which are in fact answered. YOU ARE NOT PREDESTINED FOR HELL!! YOU HAVE A CHOICE, UNTIL YOU TAKE YOUR LAST BREATH, TO ACCEPT AND FOLLOW JESUS, NO MATTER WHAT YOU'VE DONE, AND LIVE WITH HIM FOR ETERNITY IN PARADISE. He's already paid the full price for your sins and mine, paid in full. Just accept Him, repent (promise to change your sinful ways), ask His forgiveness, and sin no more. That's all you have to do. Choose wisely and quickly! Death comes as a thief in the night, quickly and unexpectedly. Do it NOW before it's too late.

Oh my goodness... You are not predestined to hell! No way! God created you for His Glory! The Will of God is for you to know His Purpose which is to KNOW HIM! The Only True God! Beloved... I'd like to say, I'm sorry for you feeling this way or thinking the way that you think... Maybe it's what someone who doesn't know God just "knows about Him" told you. The word of God is a light to our feet and path! Don't be fooled by what people say!
If you haven't asked Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior, do it now! Trust Him! Why? Because He died for you and me :). He knows our conditions, love! He knows we are weak, and that we all have fallen short from the Holy Standard of God. When you look at the Cross... It's the love of God and the righteous judgment of God! This shows how perfect God is, how Holy He is and How Loving He is!
He hates sin because of what it does to His Creation! It brings death which is Satan! Satan is death! Sin doesn't Glorify God! Sin is not His Nature. So He can Judge because He is the Perfect Judge... So instead of us suffering our deserved judgement of God, He came in the flesh and TOOK not just our sins but the sins of the World! Our sins are washed by the blood of the Perfect Lamb of God! Those who believe on the name of The Lord SHALL BE SAVED!
He is the only Begotten Son of God! Born of a virgin. Though was tempted.. He sinned not and lived a perfect sinless life for the Glory of the Father! Gave His life on the Cross shedding His Blood for you and me! Died and rose from the grave 3 days later! That's the power of God, my friend!
God created you so you can know Him! Trust Him! Eat up His WORD! Ask him to baptize you in the Holy Spirit! He will lead you into all Truth! The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and our Teacher! Have child like faith and ask! Your mind may talk you out because our minds unless cleansed by His Word are against God... Do it with all your heart beloved!
God the Father adores you! HE IS LOVE! And I ask for your forgiveness for anyone who said otherwise! Jesus said, "I am The Way The Truth and The Life, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY ME!" So, that means.. Those who don't believe in the Only Way, that God the creator of Heaven and Earth has made, are appointed to the wrath of God! There is no one worse or better!
In the Bible it says that "our good works" are as filthy rags! So people who say, "Well I'm a good person"... Nope, they are filthy! You never murdered? Really! But you have hate in your heart! God judges our hearts... It's only by believing in His righteousness that will save our souls from being damned to hell! Repent.. Turning to Him! You can't change yourself so don't wait because that will never happen.. Only He can make you a new creation!

You will find no scripture where anyone's name is ever written into the book of life after salvation. ALL names were written in the book from the foundation of the world. Rejecting Christ (blaspheming the Holy Spirit) is the only sin that gets your name blotted out of the book. ALL other sin has been paid for by Christ's work. When you reject God's only plan for salvation your name is blotted out of the book of the living and you are then predestined to the lake of fire.
When a sinner repents and accepts God's loving sacrifice, Jesus Christ, as payment for their sin then he is predestined to eternal life with God in Christ.
It's a free gift and your choice to accept or reject. God has predestined the result of your choice, but not the choice you make. His desire is ALL men be saved. He does not select some to forgive and saved, while some others to reject and not forgive. Christ died once for ALL sin, for ALL time.

Lucas, that’s the same question every atheist has to answer regarding their own life. The New Testament says that those who call on the name of the Lord will be saved therefore our fate depends on our response to the Gospel (Acts 2:37-38, Romans 10:13). No one will end up in hell because they did not deserve it (Romans 3:23).

Mr English, you need to know that everyone is destined to hell. You said it yourself, you're destined to hell. No one is born into this world ALREADY destined for anything but death. Hell is the place of the dead; hell is a tomb, a grave, the urn a dead burned-up body is put in. It goes by two or three different names: sheol, gehenna, hell; they all mean the same thing. The place of the dead.
To be predestined for a place for the redeemed to live in eternity, is to be chosen for redemption. To be redeemed is to be bought back from someone who put you in bondage. Everyone is born in iniquity (bondage to sin). Some are redeemed, others are not.
The misunderstanding is that the foreknowledge of God is tied to predestination. It's taught that God predestined some to live in eternity because he foreknew who would "accept" the offer of salvation and who would reject it. That's false! God doesn't "offer" anyone anything.
God gives gifts to men. "When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men (Eph 4:8). (Although this is of another context, it's an example of how God operates). He didn't "offer" men to receive or reject these gifts of the Spirit. God gives us talents and some of us don't use them, we bury them for whatever reason. But we can't bury salvation. Eternal life is a gift.
