Why would God care if we are good stewards of this earth if it is a temporary entity?

Isaiah 24:1 - 23

ESV - 1 Behold, the Lord will empty the earth and make it desolate, and he will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants. 2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the slave, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor.

Good question. I believe it would please Him and show respect for His creation, an earthly thank you card to glorify our God. All that we have is but a short term loan after all that will return to it's owner at some point, to do with as He pleases.

Under Jewish law if you borrowed anything, you were responsible for it, the condition when returned had to be as received, or you made it right with the owner.

Today in some quarters people are in error on the perfect balance between man and his environment as put forth by God's Word.
The environmental extremists have a twisted view that the environment has become their god and must be protected from all the evil needs of man.

Some will use threats or violence to protect their god and the power of control to place a yoke on others, thinking themselves wise they became foolish.

But even here in this marketplace of bizarre ideas there is an opportunely to engage those who oppose God and bring fore glory to Him.

Under our legal system the use of deadly force to protect property is illegal and can only be used to protect life, that most precious gift from the Creator
