My cousin is teaching the Book of Hebrews for the second time in his church! The first time (in the Fall) he had about 30, this time 10-12. This answer is to help him, hopefully. I found a good outline online and developed it.

The Superiority of Christ and The New Covenant
[bare-bones Executable Outline]
Here is a simple outline of the book, with its main divisions:

I. The superiority of Christ - Heb 1:1-8:6

A. Better than the prophets, as a much better Spokesman - Heb 1:1-3
1. In the Old Testament, God revealed himself through his messengers 
(Heb 1:1)
2.In the New Testament, God revealed himself through his Messiah (Heb. 1:2a)
B. Better than the angels, by virtue of His Deity and humanity - Heb 1:4-2:18

Hebrews 2:3–Procrastination:
The devil and his cohorts were devising plans to get people to reject the Gospel. “Let’s go to them and say there is no God,” proposed one. Silence prevailed. Every devil knew that most people believe in a supreme being. “Let’s tell them there is no hell, no future punishment for the wicked.” offered another. That was turned down, because men obviously have consciences which tell them that sin must be punished. The concave was going to end in failure when there came a voice from the rear: “Tell them there is a God, there is a hell and that the Bible is the Word of God. But tell them there is plenty of time to decide the question. Let them ‘neglect’ the Gospel, until it is too late.” All hell erupted with ghoulish glee, for they knew that if a person procrastinated on Christ, they usually never accept Him.

C. Better than Moses, for He is the Son who provides a heavenly rest - Heb 3:1-4:13
1. Moses was a faithful servant in God's house (Heb 3:5)
2. Jesus is the faithful son over God's house (Heb 3:3-4, 6).
The conclusion? (Heb 3:1): Jesus is greater, so fix your eyes on him.
D. Better than Aaron, as His priesthood is a superior one - Heb 4:16-8:6

II. The superiority of the New Covenant - Heb 8:7-10:18

A. For it is based upon better promises - Heb 8:7-13
(Heb 8:6 had said, "But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.")
B. For it is based upon a better sanctuary - Heb 9:1-28
C. For it is based upon a better sacrifice - Heb 10:1-18
(Heb 9:23 had said, "It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.")

III. Exhortations drawn from this superiority - Heb 10:19-13:25

A. Draw near to God and hold fast - Heb 10:19-39

Heb 10:22 says, "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water."
Heb 10:23 says, "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)"

B. Run the race of faith with endurance -  Heb 11:1-12:29

Heb 11:27 says, "By faith he [Moses] forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible."

Heb 12:1 has, "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience [endurance] the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him.
